The Adult Higher Education Alliance (AHEA) is an association of people from across the country who are engaged in action learning, reflection and discussion which we bring to our own lives and into our colleges and universities as teachers and administrators.
We are united by our commitment to adult students, adult education professionals, alternative degree programs for adults, and research supporting adult higher education.
Our Annual Conference is experiential learning by, with, and for practitioners who are committed to learning in action, reflection, and sharing in a community of like-minded faculty and administrators in alternative higher education.

The Alliance is pleased to announce that we have scheduled a build on Saturday, Oct 4th with Habitat for Humanity. At the end of the day there will be a workshop on service learning, justice over philanthropy, and experiential learning. Details will follow as the Conference planning continues.
Also consider adding on a mini-vacation after the conference this year. Stay and witness a wonderful collection of talent at Mobile's Bayfest 2008, October 3, 4 and 5. One might consider the Newport or Monterey Jazz Fests superb but be prepared for spectacular entertainment!
We offer six Scholarships for those attending our annual conference. Learn about our Scholarship Recipients.
